Virgin Mobile : Australia

Virgin Mobile Australia was founded in 2000 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Optus in 2006, though still maintaining its own brand identity, management structure and staff. Today, Virgin Mobile services more than one million network subscribers and has more than 75 branded retail outlets across Australia covering the most populous cities, including Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane.

In August 2015, Virgin Mobile signed a multi-year agreement with Speedperform and launched Mobile SupportWare. Taking advantage of a special agreement with Optus, its parent company, Virgin Mobile leverages Speedperform’s high quality device support through all customer touch points to its customers.

The online solution includes Speedperform’s high-end content package and covers device support for mobile handsets, USB data cards and tablets.
