TeliaSonera : Sweden

TeliaSonera is the result of a merger between the Swedish and Finnish telecommunications companies, Telia and Sonera, in 2002.

Historically, Telia was a state telephone monopoly, while Sonera only had monopoly on trunk network calls. The merger of TeliaSonera resulted in the largest Nordic and Baltic fixed-voice, broadband and mobile operator by revenue and customer base. The head office is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

In Sweden, TeliaSonera offers a large range of telecommunications services and is the leading supplier in the telecom market with more than 6,2 million mobile subscribers. The company has nationwide high-quality and reliable networks and in the last eight years, it has received the distinction of Sweden's best mobile network for voice. Its services are marketed under the brands Telia, Halebop, Skanova and Cygate.

TeliaSonera SE launched Speedperform's high quality Mobile SupportWare in August 2012 through all customer touch points. The solution covers mobile handsets, USB data cards, tablets, wireless routers and netbooks.
