TIM Brazil was founded in 1998 and was consolidated as a national company in 2002, becoming the first Brazilian operator to be present in all the states of the country. The company operates as a mobile, fixed long-distance and data transmission operator reaching 95% of the population and has more than 70 million subscribers. TIM is one of the largest operators in Brazil and is a Telecom Group Italia company.
TIM launched Mobile SupportWare in late 2013 as the first operator in Brazil. The Mobile SupportWare solution that TIM has implemented consists of Interactive Guides, Troubleshooting and Device Specification. The content is delivered through website, mobile, call center, retail and an open XML API to allow interaction with other TIM services.
